Day 2 of the Daniel Fast

Today I had the worst tasting soup I have ever had in my life! Won’t be having that again….

I told Kim that there has to be a limit as to how many vegetables can be in one soup…let alone no meat!

Through March, we will be using a flat rate fee structure and have lowered our rates as follows:

Half Day-$275

Full Day-$500

First Time Clients will receive the first day free for trying our services.

Buying Food I Don’t Like

So Kim and I went to the store tonight. Didn’t realize it costs more to “eat healthy” than not. It costs more for foods without preservatives than the same food with….help me understand that!

Pushing the cart back to the van, Kim said “you know what I’ve learned from this experience? To which my comment was “we haven’t even started yet…….”

He’s working on my already…:)

The Daniel Fast

I have been inspired by some good friends to consider attempting the “Daniel Fast”. It’s a 21 day fast based on the fast that Daniel did in the bible. The fundamental concept is to fast to draw closer to God and His will in your life. The byproduct is a healthier you in the end with the hope that you continue to eat healthy. My wife Kim and I plan on starting on Saturday. Clarke Clemens, who is a Pastor at Res Life, suggested the book “The Ultimate Guide to the Daniel Fast” and I am already 20 pages in and feeling like I want to start tomorrow!

I plan on journaling each day during the fast so I have a record of the journey. Feel free to follow along if you wish!
